Halloween

Thank you to all of the parents for all of your help and joining us! We had a blast parading our costumes and our Halloween Party!! I posted the class pictures. There are more pictures linked to Halloween. 

Field trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Here are two of the group photos that I took on the field trip. The rest are linked to the title.

Last Friday we had a blast going through the corn maze and picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Thank you to all of the parents that came with us on the field trip! The kids had a blast! 

  

  Pumpkin Experiment with our fifth grade buddies!

We had a lot of fun with our fifth grade buddies. The students weighed and measured the pumpkins. Digging out the seeds and counting them was also part of our pumpkin experiments. The kindergarteners had a wonderful time! Thanks to the fifth grade buddies for their help!

September 21-25

In reading we are working on letter id, letter sounds, and rhyming.

 

 

In math we have been working on counting by 10's and 5's.



 The taste test - we tried something from all of the different tastes (bitter, sweet, salty, and sour).

September 14-18

In reading, we have been working on letter identification, letter sounds, and rhyming.

   

 

In math, we have been working on patterns. The five senses is what we have been learning about in science. 

First Week and a half of School

We have had an amazing first week and a half of school! The students have gone a great job adjusting to full day school. They have really gotten down the policies and procedures, so our day is running smoothly!

Reading

Last week we focused on identifying and learning the sounds of A-C! The students really seem to be picking it up.
